I design and create everything myself.
My name is Ethan. I’m a college student living in Bozeman Montana and studying snow science. I enjoy being creative and working with my hands. My passions include sewing, woodworking, skiing, climbing, canyoneering, rafting and fishing! Most of my projects have originated from a need I had whilst doing a sport that I love.
I love sewing because it feels creatively limitless, my first ever project was a chalk bucket made from an old climbing rope in high school. 2022 is when I felt more excited to sew frequently. I had a “setup” in the garage and would brave -30 temps in my biggest puffy to sew. I made a canyoneering pack from an old raft thwart that I still use today and invented my “strap bag” in that garage.
Edot came from a bag of logos that were printed for me from a step-father figure of mine. They showed up to my house and I put them on everything but had no idea how to refer to it or make it into a recognizable brand. It’s a simple times new roman e and a period. Edot was the best way to say it and now I have friends that only refer to me as edot. It’s pretty cool.
Aside from the original logo, I’ve made edot stickers with the mullet that I’ve been sporting for as long as edot has been alive. I like keeping my logos and gear simple which is why these are currently only stickers, however I might expand that design to sewn logos soon. I’ve given out over 1000 stickers and am always excited to see where they wind up, if you find any in cool places (like at the top of Mt Whitney) send a photo over!!
